Not long after she was born she went over 24 hours without eating or having any dirty diapers. We were concerned, took her to the doctor and discovered that she had lost 10% of her birth weight. They fixed us up with a contraption that has her eating like a pro. She gained 1/2 lb the first day. Most of which seems to have settled in her right arm.
